I (Suave') chose to write about Brazil because all I ever knew was that Brazil has some of the most beautiful females on this planet, however I was ignorant to understand and learn about the struggles and hardships these women have went through. By researching the company I have way more respect for these women than just their beauty.

I (Jodie Crossen) chose to write about China because I wanted to learn more about women’s rights in this country. I also wanted to do more research on the one-child policy once I learned about it and this project was a good reason to do so.

I(Neha Kamal) chose to write about Pakistan because I was very interested in learning about Women's Rights in that country. Another motivation was the teenage girl Malala who was attacked by Taliban for promoting education rights for girl's. She is truly an inspiration and gives hope and courage to all the other girl's around the world. Reading about Women Rights in Pakistan and some other countries where Women are still not treated equally makes me respect the freedom and rights I have more than ever.

I (Michael Margulies) picked the United States of America as my country to research mainly because it is the country that I reside in. I wanted to learn more about women's rights in the U.S., as well as learning about the history and social policy.

I ( Andrew Valentine) chose to do my part of the project on the Philippines. The reason behind this is due to my participation in Escrima (a form Filipino martial arts) as well as having several friends that are either from the Philippines or are of Filipino descent. This project has been an amazing educational trip for me in understanding and learning more about this country and the rights that women do or did not have until 2009.

I (David Moore) chose to research and write about Saudi Arabia because I know very little about their country with regards to women's rights and also just their culture. I am aware that they are a very rich country in both the culture that is embraced and also the fact that they supply much of the worlds oil.
